French, late 19th century. Two sets of six silverplated knife rests of typical form with endpieces bearing motif of crossed torches tied with a ribbon bow. One set of six by Christofle (French, founded 1830) bearing maker's mark to each beside "Christofle", the other set of six each by Apollo (French, 19th/20th century) bearing maker's mark beside "Apollo" and "18". Christofle knife rests each approximately 1.625" tall, 3" wide. Apollo knife rests each approximately 1.5" tall, 3.625" wide.
