Waltham Clock Company (American (Waltham and Natick, MA) 1891-1940), circa 1915. An oversized mahogany tall case clock with strike and silent mechanism comprising an astragal form hood with molded cornice with front projecting corbel, hood sides with openwork half-round paterae joined by three stiles against an orange-yellow fabric backing, the front glass door with conforming astragal top flanked by columns, opening to case interior with upper painted moon phase dial over the main dial with gilt strapwork decoration, engraved and enameled black Roman numerals, and "Waltham Clock Co.", nine tubular bells and three gilt weights visible through the door and side windows, over the plinth base all raised on four molded feet. Approximate height 93.5", depth 16.25", width 25.25".
