French, late 19th/early 20th century. Pair of matching Empire style parcel gilt and black patinated bronze hurricane candle lamps with circular well for holding tall candle within engraved patinated cylindrical top above gilt abundant fruit and floral spray above flared ribbed squat shaft surmounting three stylized swans on an incurvate tripartite base with leaf tip banding and central spire accent above three lion's paw feet. Removable colorless glass shades with etched and cut glass border at top with foliates and scrolling. Both unmarked. Overall approximate height 16.75", diameter of top of glass hurricane cover 4.8".
