Two elm wood framed armchairs comprising one easy chair and one fauteuil, each upholstered in red velvet fabric with foliate scrolls with brass nailhead trim, the easy chair with upholstered back, wings, and seat, the crest comprising two molded cyma curves with central arch decorated with a carved rosette, the forward projecting wings, terminating in knuckled handrests with foliate carving, over the plush seat cushion surmounting the upholstered seat, the serpentine seat rail carved with central garland motif, all raised on four cabriole legs, the front legs decorated with carved paterae, the fauteuil comprising a molded arched crest and molded stiles, upholstered back and arms terminating in scrolled armrests on curved supports, the lift off cushion over the upholstered seat rail, surmounting the apron comprising two molded cyma curves with scrolling ends, all raised on four cabriole legs.
