Italian, late 19th/early 20th century. Pair of giltwood carved figures of winged putti, cherubs or angels, both modeled seated and nude but for drapery to their loins; one with hands clasp in front and looking to the right, the other holding drapery up face both having a serene expression and suspended from the back with mounted wire. Approximate height 20" and 21", width of putti holding hands 16.75" (wing spread), width of putti holding drapery 11" (side of body to left hand).
