Art Deco period handmade platinum and diamond converted necklace pendant with filigree work with 18 natural, bead set, old mine cut diamonds (approximately 0. 33 carat total weight, average color: J, average clarity range: I1), central natural bezel set ruby (approximately 0.12 carat total weight, color: medium red, clarity: I1) and accented with carved oval shaped synthetic opal at bottom (measuring approximately 9 x 11mm). Item unmarked however acid tested as platinum and 10k white gold quality. Overall measures approximately 1.5" x 0.625". Total weight approximately 4.9 grams. Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia. Note: Opal and ruby appear to be later additions. Bale loops and opal setting in 10k white gold.
