"WILLIAM GALE & SON STERLING SILVER COFFEE POT, 1856, 50. 44 TRZ, H 13 1/2"", L 11"":Having an ornate design consisting of scrolls, flowers and acanthus leaves. Each side contains a vignette which displays a monogram. The underside is stamped with ""Wm. Gale & Son New York"" a diamond shape which encloses ""1856"" which joins to a circle which connects to a rounded rectangle that reads ""WG & S"" all above ""Sterling""." (rev.20081212)
