Continental, 18th century. Hand carved, polychrome and gilt wood religious santos figure in the form of Jesus Christ standing in bare feet with one arm raised, figure depicted with long dark hair and beard, wound on side from being stabbed while on cross, stigmata wounds on hands in a majestic gold draped robe with exposed chest. Figure standing on green ground further raised on a stained wood plinth. Unmarked. Overall approximate height 24.5".
