Wire animal sculpture piece created by Louis Gladding Varick V, more commonly known as Thai Varick. The New York Times published an article on the homeless artist written by Daren Fonda in July 9, 2000 that outlines his artistic process, life, and compares his work to the art of Alexander Calder. This piece like his others consists of a single wire strand and has dangling heart at the center. Height 17.5", width 18.5", depth 7.25".
