Italian, 18th Century. marquetry inlaid bombe commode with serpentine hand cut marble top over a conforming case with three drawers, each cross banded with three sections of cube parquetry, elaborate gilt bronze pulls and individual locking mechanisms, the angles with barber pole inlay, the sides with similar inlaid panels of cube parquetry, all above a shaped apron on splayed feet. Height 36", width 55", depth 26.75.
