SEVRES STYLE PORCELAIN BOX, H 3 1/4", W 4", L 6":Having gilt accents on a cobalt blue ground and vignettes which depict an interior scene of three people and three scenes of landscapes; the motifs are transfer and hand painted designs. The piece is marked on the underside in gold, over glaze, with the double L mark that is centered by a B all above the letter Y. Also included is the "remaining Contents of Rose Terrace, Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, U.S.A. The Property of the late Mrs. Anna Thomson Dodge" September sale of Christie's, in 1971. The sevres style box is said to be the item featured on page 102, #683.
