South Carolina Federal mahogany sideboard, ca. 1800 , probably Wilmington, with an oblong top overhanging a base with 3 line inlaid drawers, above a bottle drawer, a door, and 2 oval inlaid center doors, supported by line and star inlaid square tapering legs terminating in banded cuffs, 41" h., 67" w. A nearly identical example is pictured in Bivins The Furniture of Coastal North Carolina , plate 7.40 and 7.40a.
