GERMAN ART NOUVEAU HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN CABINET PLATE, C. 1900, DIA 9 1/2":Having a fanciful motif at the well of a woman wearing a crown of laurels and holding stems of multi color full blossoms. The well is contained within a rich border consisting of an almost bronze coloration that is perfectly accented by a gold embossed border with various vignettes including such themes as birds, stags, other animals and leaves and scrolls. No apparent signature. The underside is marked with a tapering beehive in blue under glaze , "36g21" and "Germany".
