Handle with ornate figural repousse decoration on handle of partially nude woman playing harp or lyre beside cherub or putti with additional facial masks and putti figures in shells surrounded by C scrolls and leaved decoration. marked on back side of ladle. Length approximately 13". Total weight approximately 8.5 troy ounces. Provenance: Estate of Mr. Charles Edward Brodnax "Ned" Hansell, Mimosa Hall, Atlanta, Georgia.
