STERLING HOT WATER KETTLE ON STAND, 1912, H 12", W 9":A sterling silver hot water kettle with ivory resists, raised on a separate stand; both with chased floral motifs and marked at the underside with the logo for Whiting Mfg. co., "Sterling, 9166", the date mark for 1912, and Grainger-Hannan Co., retailer. Together with a matching alcohol burner with an ivory tip, also marked with logo and retailer however remainder of the mark is obscured by a sticker. The three pieces total approximately 38.0 troy oz.
