GERMAN VIOLIN WITH CASE, C. 1760-70, ALSO ALBERT NURNBERGER BOW LOT 1071:German made around 1760-70. Fathers instrument, played professionally. Rich tone, well developed. Back is two pieces of curly maple, top spruce, varnish is a dark brown color. Sound post tool and tuning fork. Bought from Lyon & Healy in 1916.
