CHINESE LACQUERED & CARVED WOOD CHAIR & DESK, C. 1880, H 52", L 41", D 25":Heavily carved pieces have such motifs as dragons and scrolls. The desk is in two pieces with the upper section having 2 doors that have large ivory flowers and leaves adorning them; the upper portion also has storage slots/compartments with the lower section having 2 drawers. Both the chair and the desk end on cabriole legs.
