Italian, first half of 20th century. Monumental three section display cabinet with parcel gilt accented mahogany case with carved Louis XV style scrolled foliates, flowers and C scrolls at top crest and throughout body surrounding shaped glass panels on hinged doors leading to glass shelved storage within ornamented with hand painted figural panels of groups of winged cherubs or putti. Interior with bird's eye maple veneer. Large display cabinet raised on eight legs (four at front squat cabriole with scrolled feet, rectangular at back). Overall approximate height 118.75", width 99.5", depth 24". Provenance: The Estate of Mr. Bob Slack, Atlanta, Georgia whereby sold by Red Baron Antiques, Sandy Springs, Georgia in March 2002 and acquired by consignor.
