Whimsical red feathered caged bird automaton with small bird with black eyes and moving beak on a tubular brass stand adorned with leaves and flowers above green felt on ground within a metal twisted wire circular cage with beaded and floral banding. Key turns at bottom, switch at side to turn on and off movement. Marked on bottom "MADE IN JAPAN". Circular hook at top for hanging. Approximate height 11", diameter of bottom 6.5".
