NEOCLASSICAL STYLE PAINTED WOOD & GESSO FIREPLACE MANTLE & SURROUND, ANTIQUE, H 58", L 98", D 12":The wood and gesso fireplace is painted white and is decorated with accents of dentil molding just below the mantle and along the opening, ionic columns on either side of opening and vignettes just below the mantle consisting of classical figures and angels. There is an old hand written tag on the back which reads "1709 LLL 1 Base(?; the rest is illegible).
