VICTORIAN STERLING TEAPOT, MESSRS. CARRINGTON, LONDON, 1890-91, H 5", L 9 1/2":A sterling silver teapot of globular shape with hinged lid, repousse Chinese figures seated at a table on one side, an engraved script monogram on the other side. Hallmarks include a lion passant, uncrowned leopard, date letter "P" in a shield, and maker's mark "JBC" in a quatrefoil cartouche for Carrington. Measures H.5 1/4", L.9 1/2".
