ESTONIAN/RUSSIAN . 875 SILVER FISH SET, 1891, TWO PIECES, L 9" & 11":Set consists of a fish fork and knife with etched motif on the tines and the blade and initials engraved at the tip. The back of each piece is stamped with identical marks; marks from both Estonia and Russian. Estonian pieces include a lion passant enclosed within an oval and "875" enclosed within an oval; Russian marks include "84" within a square, the assayer's mark (initials in Cyrillic above the date, 1891), maker's initials "RM" within a square and a worn city mark. The back of each utensil is engraved with a date, "24 XVV 1928".
