Italian, Early 19th century. Provincial walnut wood secretary with slant front with carved cartouches that opens onto pull out supports to reveal writing surface in front of six short pull out drawers for housing writing utensils and items within above two pull out drawers with carved fronts, similar carving on sides. Overall with shaped apron and shell motif at center supported on cabriole legs. Approximate height 40", width 41", depth 21".
