King's Head mark at base of blade (Made by Gebruder Weyersburg, Solingen), metal sheath and 21 1/2" blade; one French officer's short sword, stamp on guard indicates bayonet was issued to 104th infantry regiment 11th company and weapon #15; scabbard number does not match and its designation is 105th Regiment 11th company, weapon #232; one French 1874 Gras bayonet #64160 and 17b 689 (17th battalion 6th company weapon #89) on guard, stamped Alex. Coppel, Solingen at base of 22" blade; one German S98/05 bayonet, stamped Ernst Bosch at base of 14 1/2" saw back blade, steel scabbard; British 1888 Mk 1 #217 on pommel, with Enfield inspection stamp on top of 12" blade at guard; no scabbard;
