E., LONDON, 1849-50, H 5", L 6":Victorian era toast rack raised on acanthus leaf feet, hallmarks include a rampant lion, uncrowned leopard, date letter Gothic O, and queen's profile, along with maker's mark "JE" enclosed in an oval, possibly for John Evans. Measures H.4 3/4", L.6 1/4", W.4 3/4", weighing approximately 7.83 troy oz.
