ESTONIAN & RUSSIAN . 875 SILVER FLATWARE, ASSEMBLED SET, 93 PIECES:Largely composed of Estonian silver, each with monograms at the tips, which includes: 9 tablespoons, stamped with the mark used c. 1920-1924, consists of a fleur de lis, "EW 84" enclosed in an oval and "AR" within a square, L. 8 1/2"; 5 oval soup spoons, stamped with "875" enclosed within an oval, a lion passant enclosed within an oval and the maker's initials (worn, possibly "JK"), L. 7 1/4"; 12 teaspoons, engraved "24 XII 30." on the back of the handle and stamped with a lion passant within an oval, "875" within an oval and the maker's initials within a square "TG", L. 5 7/8"; 18 forks, stamped with the same marks as the teaspoons, L. 7"; 16 forks with three tines, also stamped with the same markings as the teaspoons, L. 5 3/4" and 18 butter knives with .875 silver handles, also stamped with the same markings as the teaspoons, L. 8 1/2". Russian silver includes 15 spoons, L. 6 3/4" - 7", twelve of which have the same markings (the Kokoshnik with the a for St. Petersburg, "KK" enclosed in an oval and a name in Cyrillic) and two of the three remaining spoons have the same markings, one is monogrammed and the other is engraved "Gunnar Ambel" (the Kokoshnik mark with the delta for Moscow and maker's initials in Cyrillic) with the third spoon, monogrammed at the tip, appears to be by Stepan Levin with an older (and worn) Kokoshnik mark.
