1935 DETROIT TIGERS WORLD CHAMPIONS BASEBALL BAT, 1935, L 35":A Hiillerich & Bradsby "Louisville Slugger" World Series commemorative baseball bat known to collectors as "Black Bats", were actually brown bats from 1934-1937. It is adorned with seventeen team players names/autographs engraved on the barrel of the bat including Hall Of Fame members: Mickey Cochrane, Hank Greenberg, Charlie Gehringer and Goose Goslin along with Elden Auker, Tommy Bridges, Chief Hogsett, Roxie Lawson, Schoolboy Rowe, Vic Sorrell, Jo-Jo White, Heinie Schuble, Billy Rogel, Flea Clifton, Ray Heyworth, Frank Reiber and Marv Owen. The bats were given to the players and management of the world series finalists. This bat was one of the bats presented to one of the Detroit Tiger players or management VIP's. also includes a separate autograph on the back of a Detroit radio station advertising card, of the late Hall of Fame Announcer Ernie Harwell inscribed: " Hi Jack ! Ernie Harwell Keep That Bat !!"; Harwell also authenticated this item as he was a personal friend of the consigner.
