THAI GLAZED STONEWARE TWO-HANDLED COCONUT OIL JAR, MID 14TH-16TH C. , H 5 3/4", DIA 6":Sawankhalok kilns, stoneware with thickly applied, finely crackled green celadon glaze with incised petal design encircling the neck. Base is crudely shaped, unglazed with a straight rim. Reputed to have come from the sea off the Gulf of Thailand. Measures 2" diameter at the lip.
