Johann Phillip Alberti, attributed(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1754-1780) , rare pewter lidded pitcher with heart shaped spout, the body with double c-scroll handle, inscribed "MM Georg Leonart Muller 1763", 7 3/4" h. Muller appears to have lived in Lebanon and was a member of Hill Evangelical Lutheran Church. For information, see Herr, Pewter in Pennsylvania German Churches , pg. 89.
