RUSSIAN LACQUER BOXES (3), L 5"-7", 'THE GOLDEN COCKEREL' & OTHERS:Each is rectangular and hand-decorated at the hinged cover, including 1 rectangular box with lovely maidens in forest setting, castle and prince in the distance, signed and dated, H. 1" x 5 1/4" x 2 3/4"; 1 depicting "The Golden Cockerel", Kholui School, signed at the interior, H.1 1/2" x 5 3/4" x 3 7/8"; and 1 depicting "The Kingdom of Berendev", H.3/4" x 6 1/2" x 5 1/2". Late 20th century-circa 2000.
