GERMAN PORCELAIN, REGIMENTAL BEER STEIN, C1945-78, H 10":having a railroad motif with a pewter steam engine finial, scene on side depicts a winged railroad wheel, freight yard scene and train underway; inscribed at the top: '3um 25 jahrig. Diensljubilaum gemid.n.d. obmnnnschafthof.' on top (roughly translated for 25 years of service); bottom: 1886 Hans Kolz 1888'; stamped on the underside is a crown with reverse 'KR' (Karl Rau, c1945-1978), 'Germany' and 'Hand Malerei' (hand painted). Lithopane on the bottom of the interior depicts man dancing with woman.
