FRENCH D'ORE BRONZE & CHAMPLEVÉ MANTLE CLOCK, RETAILED BY J. E. CALDWELL & CO., H 10", W 5", L 7":Intricately decorated gilt bronze clock with motifs of engaged Corinthian columns, acanthus leaves and scrolling leaf and flower motifs. The glass panels are beveled and contain the face and workings of the clock, stamped "J.E. Caldwell & Co." and "J.E. Caldwell & Co. Philadelphia, Made in France" at the face and on the works. Includes 2 keys and a champlevé pendulum. Actual dimensions overall are H. 10 3/8", W. 5 5/8", L. 7".
