(FORE-EDGE PAINTINGS OF ITALY) DANTE ALIGHIERI, 'DIVINA COMMEDIA', LONDON, 1808-09, FOUR VOLS. :A set of 4 volumes, each covered in dark green morocco with a lovely view on fore-edge, identified in pencil at the interior as "A View of Florence from the Boboli Gardens", "Ravenna", "Around Florence", and "View in Verona", respectively. Written in Italian, published in London by R. Zotti, 1808 and 1809 (vol. 4 only); fore-edge paintings done in the style of Edwards of Halifax.
