French, circa 1950's. Maison Jansen Directoire style bronze mounted and black lacquered and parcel gilt decorated commode or chest of drawers, having a white marble top contained within a three quarter pierced gallery and over two short and two long drawers flanked to each side by foliate mounted panels. All raised on square tapered legs with sabots. Each drawer stamped 'Jansen'. Height 34.75", width 40", depth 18.5"
