VICTORY OLYMPIC STAMPS, 1940 OLYMPICS + RECEIPT:Stamp Sheet signed by Herbert Hoover on bottom in black ink; US Olympic Committee signed receipt Fred Weber, Kate Kane, Sept.22, 1960. Receipt AY 24611. These issued stamps were used by the U. S. Olympic Committee to raise money for amateur athletes to be sent to the 1940 Olympic Games. These games were never held due to the outbreak of WWII.
