Chinese, 20th century. A green Yixing Zisha teapot of globular form with unusual foliate-like tripartite arched handle to top with two narrow shafts springing from either side of downturned spout at front and one narrow shaft springing from behind the opening on top and curving toward front, one side of the body with incised bamboo motif and the other side with many lines of incised calligraphy, the round lid with a stem-like finial to top. Marked to interior of lid with small incised calligraphic cartouche, and to underside with four impressed marks within a square cartouche. Overall approximately 6.25" tall, 5" spout to edge.
