French, late 19th century. French gilt bronze with copper patina wall clock, the foliate cresting over a cartouche with porcelain painted oval plaque Boyer a res Paris, possibly the retailer, the circular glazed door opening to a porcelain dial with stylized Arabic numerals and centered with open escapement within a egg and dart decorated bezel, the bracket form base centered with cabachon supported by a winged harpie mounted with draping fruit garland. The movement stamped "A.D. Mougin Deux Medailles in a circle, serial number #5223 911. A.D. Mougin was a well known listed French clock maker who was located at Rue de Turenne 75 Paris in 1870. Height 25", width 11.75", depth 6.25".
