MINIATURE, 1851 NAVY COLT REVOLVER, ENGRAVED PRESIDENTIAL EDITION, #100/1500, 1" = 2 1/8" SCALE:miniature 1851 Colt Navy, United States Historical Society revolver, #100/1500; having a blued hexagon barrel and cylinder engraved with the traditional Colt engraving pattern from the Colt Engraving book by R.L. Wilson. Engraved nickel plated frame and grip straps. Mother-of-pearl grips with a bronze medallion of the rampant Colt on left pearl grip. Includes a American cherry presentation case , velvet lined, with an etched Colt insignia on the glass framed hinged lid, brass latch. A brass plaque is mounted on the velvet and inscribed: " '51 Navy Colt Miniature Presidential Edition Colt Firearms United States Historical Society"; a non-firing miniature revolver; includes certificate of authenticity from Colt firearms and the United States Historical Society.
