ROYAL CROWN DERBY 'AMERICA'S CUP' PLATES BY W. E.J. DEAN, C. 1940, EIGHT, DIA 10 1/4":A set of 8 porcelain plates, each is uniquely hand-painted at the well by W. E. J. Dean (a painter of marine subjects for the Derby Porcelain Company) and features a different sailing boat, titled on the reverse, with robin's egg blue borders and gilt gadroon rims.
