19th century. Pair of matching Regency style caned and upholstered armchairs with stained walnut frames. Each chair with cream colored fabric upholstery with quilted embroidery in off white on back, seat, seat cushion, rolled pillow back and arm rests. Two layers of brown caning on each side of chair. Chair with scrolled motif on arms, ribbed detail on curved front side of chair above fluted shaft with floral finial on tapered fluted legs. Height 36", width (across arms) 27.75", depth 31". Seat to floor (without removable seat cushion) 14". Seat to floor (with seat pillow) 20".
