A pair twin cherry wood beds each comprising a painted headboard and curved footboard with molded panels, neoclassical style painted decoration comprising rosette garlands, scrolls, urns, and green painted fluting, each side rail decorated with a central painted urn flanked by floral swags, one bed having a footboard painted with a central shield form cartouche framing a scene of two young children in classical garb within a sylvan landscape, the other bed having a footboard painted with a central shield form cartouche framing a scene of two winged putti, both headboards decorated with central oval cartouches framed by painted egg and dart molding depicting scenes of lovers courting within pastoral landscapes, each bed raised on tapered legs on metal caps.
