ENGLISH AESTHETIC PORCELAIN VASES WITH FAUX CLOISONNÉ DECORATION, C. 1880, PAIR, H 10 1/2", W 6":Each bottle-form porcelain vase is flanked by handles and raised on a flaring base, hand-decorated with fans enclosing birds at one side and dragonfly with daisies on the reverse, on a faux cloisonné ground of bright blue adorned with cherry blossoms; no apparent marks at the underside, remnants of a paper label (see additional photo).
