'ON THE AVENUE' SHEET MUSIC INSCRIBED BY IRVING BERLIN & (2) AUTOGRAPH SIGNED LETTERS, SEPT. 1937:Presentation collection of "On the Avenue" sheet music bound in black leather with gilt lettering and gilt edge, inscribed and dated on the front flyleaf in black ink, "For Alfred W. Chase with many thanks and appreciation for giving me your wonderful collection of old songs, Irving Berlin, Sept. 10, 1937". Together with 2 typewritten letters pertaining to the sheet music, each is signed in black ink. Songs include "You're Laughing at Me", "Slumming on Park Avenue", "This Year's Kisses", "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm", "The Girl on the Police Gazette", "He Ain't Got Rhythm", and "He Ain't Got Rhythm (Ritz Bros. Specialty)"--Twentieth Century Fox, 1937. Irving Berlin (1888-1989), composer and lyricist. Three items total.
