G. L. Ashworth Brothers (English, 1861-1968), circa 1862-1890. Collection of ten ironstone earthenware dishes comprising of four luncheon plates and six soup bowls, all in Imari color palette with red, black, and gilt on light purple transfer floral and scrolled motif. Each marked on bottom with impressed mark with crown above "ASHWORTH REAL IRONSTONE CHINA" and red to purple mark indicating these were produced between1862-1890. Diameter of luncheon plate approximately 9.25". Diameter of soup bowl approximately 10.25".
