Edwin Brown (English (Coventry), 1814-1891), "Bay Horse in Stable"-1854, oil on canvas, signed and dated lower left. Horse painting depicting a standing brown Bay horse with bob cut tail in a stark stable interior with basket for feed on planked walls, straw or hay on ground, and paned window on left wall with light shining through. Verso of canvas with indistinct stencil for G. Rowney & Co., London artist suppliers. Unframed approximately 24" x 30". Provenance: Property from the Private Collection of Helen Ballard, Atlanta, Georgia.
