Dutch, 18th century. A large and impressive Dutch oak and marquetry inlaid display cabinet comprising a molded serpentine carved crest over a frieze with marquetry inlaid floral vines centered by a carved with an acantus scroll surmounted by a convex molded capitol, all over the two mullioned glass front doors set within floral marquetry inlaid frames, opening to the red-painted case interior comprising two small scalloped upper display shelves over one large scalloped display shelf, flanked by two inlaid side panels with inset glass windows astragal molded frames, over the heavily cavetto molded waist molding, the lower case comprising two front doors with square panels with cavetto molded corners framing marquetry inlaid urns holding floral bouquets lined by a double row of stringing, opening to a red painted interior with two rows of storage space, flanked by angled corners with astragal molded panels framing marquetry inlay each with a vase of flowers and a bird, all raised on bun front feet and arched back feet.
