AMERICAN STERLING & SILVER THIMBLES, 19TH CENTURY, 18, H 1":10 thimbles are stamped "sterling" and are by a variety of makers including Simons Bros. , Sterns Bros. and Webster Co., totaling approximately 1.25 trz together with 1 thimble stamped "coin" and the remaining 7 thimbles with no indication of fineness of silver, with all but two having a manufacturer's mark.
