ITALIAN . 800 SILVER BOX, 19TH CENTURY, H 3", W 8", L 9":Hand chased box with hinged cover is decorated with floral and acanthus leaf motifs and is centered by a carnelian medallion, all ending on four supports with female masks that enhance the knees. Actual height is 3 1/2". Stamped on the underside with worn National mark, 800 enclosed within an oval, and initials (either V.C. or V.G.) enclosed within an oval indicating either the maker or the province. Totaling approximately 36.00 trz.
