20th century. Set of eight mahogany framed dining chairs in Chippendale style comprising of seven side chairs and one armchair. Each with oxbow crest rail terminating in molded ears surmounting a pierced splat, (arm chair having scrolled arms joining curved supports), the trapezoidal seat upholstered in azure blue colored velvet fabric, resting on square legs all joined by an H-shaped stretcher base. Arm chair approximate height 39.5", width 23.5", depth 21", seat to floor 19". Side chair approximate height 37.5", width 18", depth 21", seat to floor 19".
