Widdicomb Furniture Company (American, founded 1858), 20th century. A Russian Neoclassical style display or china cabinet crafted in cherry solids with Karelian birch veneers having dentil and gilt egg-and-dart molded cornice over a frieze which Karelian birch inlay outlined with ebony between a pair of brass medallions above a pair beveled glass doors outlined in gilt egg-and-dart molding and opening to an interior with four glass shelves and touch controlled lighting, flanked to the exterior by Karelian birch and brass capital pilasters, the glass sides also decorated with gilt egg and dart molding. The whole raised on a plinth base. Back of cabinet mounted with brass Widdicomb plaque. Approximate height 87", width 45", depth 16".
